Israel | Shalva Band will perform in Semi Final Two Interval Act
Shalva Band, one of the candidates taking part in "HaKokhav HaBa L'Eurovizion" - the Israeli Eurovision selection process - will perform in the second semi final of the 64th Eurovision Song Contest as part of the interval act.

The group decided to quit from the TV show because the preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest will take place during Saturday. Work on Saturday is forbidden by the Jewish religion under the belief of Shabbat. As a result, the group who became the first finalist for the show after winning semi final one have given up on their chance to represent Israel in the international song contest. The group was a big favorite to win the show.
Israel's biggest digital news channel 'YNET', says today that the group will perform as part of the interval act in the second semifinal that will take place on May 16th. The decision was made by both the EBU and KAN.
The group includes only members with different range of disabilities, and as it was said by the heads of KAN:
"Shalva's members dared to dream, and we are privileged to make their dream come true"
