Belgium | Eurovision Song To Be Revealed On February 28th


The broadcaster responsible for Belgium's Eurovision entry this year, RTBF, have revealed that the song that Eliot Vassamillet will sing in Tel Aviv will be revealed on February 28th.


The channel have not confirmed that name of the song in which Eliot will sing, but if rumors are to be believed, he will perform the entry "Wake Up" later next month. Regardless, all will be confirmed in February.


What we do know is that Pierre Dumoulin from Roscoe group will pen the song that the talented young singer will perform in Tel Aviv. He is no stranger to Eurovision though, having being responsible for being the co-author of Blanche's "City Lights" song that came 4th in Kyiv.


Pierre has spoken about Eliot, and has said,


"As soon as i saw Eliot's performance at his Blind audition, i felt he had that extra stuff that I am looking for in an artist, that sensitivity and crack that's needed to convey the emotions".

Eliot will be a new young name to the contest, In recent years Belgium has fared well at Eurovision, especially with its young singers. Last year, however, Sennek failed to qualify for the contest, and placed 12th with "A Matter of Time". Could this young singer avenge that result?
