Steven Clerima, the current Head of Delegation for France in Eurovision and Junior Eurovision, has revealed to French television programme, Tele Loisirs, that he will be the Head of Delegation for Eurovision Choir of The Year. Steven confirmed, in his interview, his role in Eurovision Choir of The Year, but said that at present, he cannot reveal anything about France's participation in the contest.
At present, it is unknown how France will go about selecting their act for the contest, but it is rumoured that the television show "Le Grand Concours des Chorales", broadcast on France 3, could be used as their selection method.
The Eurovision Choir of The Year 2019 will take place in Scotland on August 3rd. A total of 10 countries have confirmed their participation in the contest. France, Norway, Scotland, Sweden and Switzerland will all be making their debut alongside Belgium, Germany, Latvia, Slovenia and Wales.
