Hungary | Six More Artists Qualify From The Second Heat of A Dal 2019

Tonight saw the second heat of A Dal that saw ten more acts compete, with six more artists proceeding to the next round of Hungary's national final. Over the next five weeks, we will see Hungary whittle down the field before ultimately choosing their Eurovision 2019 representative on Saturday 23rd February 2019. The following acts performed this evening:

  1. Dávid Heatlie – La Mama Hotel

  2. The Middletonz – Roses

  3. Klára Hajdu – You’re Gonna Rise

  4. Gotthy – Csak 1 perc

  5. Acoustic Planet – Nyári zápor

  6. Fatal Error – Kulcs

  7. Bence Vavra – Szótlanság

  8. Diana – Little Bird

  9. The Sign – Ő

  10. yesyes – Incomplete

The show was hosted by Freddie who previously participated for the country back in the 2016 contest. Tonight, also saw Bogi Dallos join him. The jury members were Miklos Both, Misi Mezo, Lilla Vincze and Fero Nagy, who all helped in the outcome of tonight's show.

The juries each awarded a score out of 10 to each performer (with public live app voters also having a score averaged and added to the total after the performances), with the highest five total scores automatically securing a place in the next round. The bottom five are then opened up to a public vote with the highest vote getter joining the others in the semi final.

Tonight's six qualifiers are:

1. Fatal ErrorKulcs

2. Acoustic PlanetNyári zápor

3. The MiddletonzRoses

4. Bence VavraSzótlanság

Next week the third batch of ten participants will take to the A Dal stage to perform where the next six semi finalists will be chosen. The previous edition of the show saw a big drop in viewing figures, and it is hoped that tonight's show will not follow the same pattern.
