France | Destination Eurovision goes Junior + Artist Cover Songs Revealed

France's preparations to find their next Eurovision star is well under way. Earlier this afternoon, Eurovoxx reported on the news that the ten international jurors that had been picked, and they will help determine who will fly to Tel Aviv in May. In the last hour Eurovision France, has revealed the cover songs that the eight finalists will sing this Saturday in the 'Destiantion Eurovison' final.
The artists cover songs are as follows:
Chimène Badi - "Ne partez pas sans moi" by Celine Dion
Silvan Areg- "Le Dernier qui a parlé" by Amina
Doutson - "J'ai cherche" by Amir
Aysat - "Fairytale" by Alexander Rybak
Seemone - "L'oiseau Et L'enfant" by Marie Myriam
Emmanuel Moire - "Euphoria" by Loreen
Bilal Hassani - "Fuego" by Eleni Foureira
The Divaz - "Waterloo" by Abba
So far, there has been two very strong semi finals, which has culminated in the above eight artists being in the final. Both Bilal Hassani, and Seemone won their respective semi's, and will be seen as the one's to beat. Saturday, will see France being the third country to chose their representative and song, after Albania in November, and Spain last week.
News has also come in that 'Destination Eurovision' will go all junior, as the countries runner up in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018, Angélina will sing during the show. The show will certainly appeal to everyone. France will be keen to have her on the show, as she gave the country its best ever result at the Junior Eurovision, when she narrowly missed out on the win to Poland.
