Poland | Polish act for 2019 will be chosen internally

It has been announced via the official website for Polish broadcaster, TVP, that this years act for Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv will be chosen via an internal selection as opposed to a national final.
The broadcaster will create a special committee for Eurovision 2019 that will listen to all of the submitted songs and then decide on their winning song that will fly the Polish flag in Tel Aviv. The deadline for submitting songs is February 5th and can be sent to eurowizja@tvp.pl. The name of the Polish act is expected to be revealed by February 8th.
The rules and regulations for submitting songs to the broadcaster are as follows:
All songs must be original and cannot have been released or performed before September 1st 2018. If the song has been released, performed or streamed before September 1st, the act must notify the broadcaster upon submission of the song where a decision will be made with TVP and the EBU about whether the song will be allowed to compete or not.
All songs must not exceed 3 minutes.
All performers must be at least 16 years old by May 14th 2019. If a minor is submitting a song, they must have written consent from a parent or guardian.
Foreign composers and singers are allowed to submit a song.
