Moldova | Details Released of the 26 Competing Artists, Singing 28 Songs

The national broadcaster for Moldova, TRT, has today released further details of the artists that have submitted songs to represent the country at this years Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Tel Aviv.
28 artists submitted entries, but this was cut to 26 after one participant had submitted an incomplete file, whilst another had the song removed as it broke the rules in which the song contained lyrics that incited hatred, intolerance. Two singers. 'Viorela' and 'Che MD' will sing two songs each totalling 28 entries, and a total of 26 singers.
The 26 entries will perform at the live auditions, which will be held on February 2nd 2019 at 12:00, in Studio 2 of Moldova's channel 1. A jury of professionals will assess the songs, and artist voice . If you want to watch these, they will be available to watch live at TRM.MD.

There are several familiar names here which include Vera Turcanu who competed at last years national final coming second to DoReDos. More information on Vera's entry "Cold" can be found here. Also present is Diana Brescan who previously competed at 'O Meloide Pentru Europa' back in 2017, whilst Alex Bognibov has previously competed on several other occasions.
After the live auditions, the broadcaster will then release the names of the artists, and songs that will compete at the countries national final.
