Russia | Could Sergey Lazarev return to Eurovision with 'power ballad'?
Russian Newspaper Moskovskij Komsomolets (MK) have reported that Sergey Lazarev could be heading back to Eurovision, this time with a grand an epic power ballad that has been recorded with an entire symphony orchestra.
The 2016 Eurovision participant has been speculated at making a Eurovision return in 2019 for a few months now along with The Dream Team, who he worked with on "You Are The Only One" in 2016. The magazine has also speculated that the song has been composed by Philipp Kirkorov and Dimitris Kontopoulous, but that at present, there are no lyrics to the song, only the music.
However, at the moment, Russian broadcaster VGTRK have not confirmed nor denied Sergey's participation in Eurovision 2019. It is believed that Russia will reveal their participant at the end of January 2019.
