Greece | Could Katerine Duska be flying the Greek flag in Tel Aviv?

OGAE Greece have revealed that ERT's Eurovision committee, of which Dimitris Papadimitriou is the president, are currently in the process of communicating with potential artists and their respective record labels about Eurovision 2019 participation.

One name that has been mentioned is Canadian-born Greek singer Katerine Duska. She released her first single "One In A Million" in 2013, followed by her debut album "Embodiment" in 2015.

According to information that was revealed by Greek Journalist for the STAR Channel in Greece, Yiannis Poulopoulos on the television show "In The Cuckoo's Nest", Greece's biggest record company appear to have suggested Katerine as a suitable candidate for Eurovision 2019.

It is rumoured that Greek broadcaster ERT are keen to send a traditional Pop song in the Greek language. However, Katerine's style is more Indie-Pop and Soul, and her voice has been compared to the likes of Amy Winehouse and Adele.
