Sweden | Melodifestivalen 2019 Running Orders Confirmed

Back in November, Swedish broadcaster SVT held the press conference announcing the twenty-eight participants who will be competing in 'Melodifestivalen 2019'. Melodifestivalen is the Swedish national selection and for many is the highlight of National Final season so in a second press conference today at 12.00 CET - SVT have confirmed the running order of all four semi finals. Find all the details down below!

And with that - we have the semi final running orders! Last year, Benjamin Ingrosso returned after successful 2017 debut and performed seventh in semi final 1 before going on to victory. Previously, Robin Bengtsson prformed first in semi final 3 ahead of his 2017 win, whilst in 2016 winner Frans performed in slot five of semi final 4. Despite being seen by fans as the best position in the semi final running order to be given, Mans Zelmerlow is the only person to go on to win from being the final semi final (4) closer since 2009 meaning that realistically we have no clearer idea of who is going to be the favourite to win except based on name alone!

In 2018, Benjamin Ingrosso took his song 'Dance You Off' along with his impressive lights show to the Lisbon Eurovision stage where despite placing second with the jury, a disappointing 23rd in the televote (with only 21 points) knocked the Scandinavian powerhouse down to 7th finishing on 274 votes. Over in Lisbon, Clara caught up with Benjamin ... check out their interview here!

Purely speculation until we hear the songs ... but let us know in the comments below/via social media who you think is going to win! Can you correctly predict the winner?
