Eurovision 2019 | What do you Dare to Dream? Eurovision Logo Revealed

It's officially 2019 and with that marks the start of another year filled to the brims with Eurovision! Last year, the EBU and Israeli public broadcaster KAN revealed that the slogan for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest - to be held in Tel Aviv on May 14th, 16th & 18th - is #DareToDream and now we have the official logo for the 64th contest - revealed this morning on social media by the EBU and official Eurovision accounts. With this new shining star feature to the Israeli hosted contest, it wonderfully marks the start of the 5 month countdown to Eurovision! Immediate comments and responses seem overwhelming positive - with the logo being called modern, and fans on social media calling it 'amazing', 'beautiful' and 'cool'! In a first for Eurovision logos - it also moves! We can probably expect to see it on LED screens across the city as the continent descends on Tel Aviv for another year of European (and of course Australian) music madness.

The last time Israel hosted Eurovision - in 1999 - they similarly used a logo that featured a star outline so maybe we should not be surprised that Israel is 'Made of Stars' once again! The 1999 logo can be seen below as a comparison.
