Eurovision | Loreen Walks Away With ESC250 Victory Once Again

Today the eagerly anticipated ESC250 show was broadcast today, an annual event in which fans vote for their top ten entries of all time in Eurovision history, and then the top 250 songs are played on escradio.com during New Years' Eve. And once again Loreen has walked away with the top spot for the seventh year running.

Ever since winning in Baku in 2012, Loreen and her song "Euphoria" have been winning the fans over ever since also, winning the ESC250 contest every year it has been eligible, winning the poll once is no easy feat so winning seven years in a row is truly amazing! Fighting off stiff competition in the likes of Salvador Sobral, Jamala and Blanche, as well as 2018 runner up Eleni Foureira who mirror her Eurovision 2018 result here with another 2nd place, the Swedish artist proudly walks away victorious again, the entire top ten were as follows:

  1. Euphoria (Sweden 2012)

  2. Fuego (Cyprus 2018)

  3. Amar Pelos Dos (Portugal 2017)

  4. 1944 (Ukraine 2016)

  5. City Lights (Belgium 2017)

  6. Grande Amore (Italy 2015)

  7. Rhythm Inside (Belgium 2015)

  8. Quedate Comigo (Spain 2012)

  9. Everyway That I Can (Turkey 2003)

  10. Nocturne (Norway 1995)

Eurovision 2018 winner Netta was a surprise absentee from the top debuting into the ESC250 at only 23rd, with the next highest 2018 entry coming from Estonia and "La Forza" coming in at 40th, which makes us ask, what does the entries from the 2018 contest lack in comparison to previous years' entries?
