Cyprus | Tamta Chosen as Eurovision 2019 Representative
Following weeks of speculation and teasers by Cypriot broadcaster CyBC it has now been confirmed that Georgian-Greek singer and star Tamta will be representing the small island nation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv.

Cyprus gained their best ever result at Eurovision in 2018 with Eleni Foureira's 'Fuego' bagging them their first ever second place and with the news of Tamta flying the flag of Cyprus in Israel it appears that they could be going for one better next year!
In an announcement posted on their Facebook page, CyBC Eurovision confirmed that pop star Tamta will representing them with the song 'Replay' composed by the famous Alex Papaconstantinou (Alex P) whilst Eurovision choreography royalty Sacha Jean-Baptiste has been assigned as stage director. This is the exact same team that were involved with 2018's hit 'Fuego' which means it all sounds very promising!
Tamta is not a new name to Eurofans having competed in Greece's 2007 national final with the song 'With Love' but unfortunately only placed third. As Greece has turned to internal selections over the past few years, Tamta was regularly rumoured having expressed interest in competing at the Eurovision Song Contest - a story similar to Eleni Foureira.
We can't wait to see what Tamta has to offer us - check out her pop sensation banger 'Unloved' below.
