They came back to the contest in Minsk after a fourteen year break from the contest and impressively took runner up spot in the competition in 2018. But no fears of another extended break as France today have confirmed they shall compete in Junior Eurovision 2019 in Poland.
France were represented by The Voice Kids winner Angélina Nava and the song "Jamais Sans Toi" an early fan favourite in the 2018 contest, Angélina delievered on the night and made France achieve second place on their return, their participation for Poland 2019 was confirmed this morning via the Eurovision France Twitter account, which can be found @EurovisionF2.
1.16 million viewers from France also tuned in to watch Angélina's success, with 2018 Eurovision act Madame Monsieur were part of the commentary team for France also. France placed 2nd with 203 points in the final, just twelve points behind winners Poland, they placed sixth in the jury and came second in the online vote.
