Cyprus | Greek Pop Star Vangelis Kakouriotis Rumoured For Eurovision 2019
The Greek singer Vangelis Kakouriotis has been rumoured to be participating in The Eurovision Song Contest 2019 for Cyprus.

Last month there were rumors that the Cypriot broadcaster CyBC had approached singer and X Factor Greece judge Tamta to represent Cyprus in Tel Aviv. Reports also suggested that the song intended to represent Cyprus in Eurovision 2019 has been recorded with the same team that recorded 'Fuego' .
However, now the web portal of Cypriot TV station Sigma TV has reported that Vangelis Kakouriotis is now a candidate to represent Cyprus in Tel Aviv. The report cites the journalist Yannis Poulopoulos, who has worked on Eurovision for many years, as the source of the rumour.
Kakouriotis is a 22 year old singer, songwriter and dancer. He is known in Greece for winning the most recent season of Dancing with the Stars. He is signed with Panik Records, the same label that Eleni Foureira was signed to.
