JESC 2018 | More viewing figures revealed

December 5, 2018

More countries have been releasing their official viewing figures for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018, so let's take a look at how the contest fared across the continent!

The Khabar Agency have revealed that a total of 132,000 viewers tuned in to watch Kazakhstan make their Junior Eurovision debut, giving them a market share of between 8.3% and 10.3%.

Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC have revealed that a total of 2.5 million people tuned in to watch Darina Krasnovestka give Ukraine another top 5 placing. This gave Ukraine a total market share of 2.23%, which is double what it was for the 2017 contest in Georgia.

The Welsh broadcaster S4C have revealed that a total of 20,342 people watched Wales take to the Junior Eurovision stage for the first time. It was the 9th most watched programme on S4C for that week, and the second most watched programme for that weekend, being beaten by the Rugby on the Sunday.

It has been confirmed that a total of 20,200 people watched the contest via S4C on television, whilst 72 people tuned in to the S4C live stream on PC/laptop and only 26 people tuning on to the SVC live stream on mobile.
