Australia | Four artists confirmed for Australia Decides

As Australia is gearing up for it's first ever Eurovision national final, due to take place in February 2019 on The Gold Coast, some big names in the Australian music scene have confirmed their participation. So let's take a look at them and see if your favourite is among them!
SHEPPARD

Sheppard are one of the most well known and popular of the acts that have confirmed for Australia Decides so far. Sheppard are an Indie pop band formed in Brisbane in 2009. Since releasing their debut album in 2014, they have gone on to release a string of hit singles, including their worldwide hit "Geronimo", which spent 3 weeks at number one on the Australian charts and amassed over 3 million streams on Spotify.

KATE MILLER-HEIDKE

Katie Miller-Heidke is a singer-songwriter and actress who hails from Brisbane. Since the release of her first album in 2007, which was certified Gold, she has gone on to release a further 3 albums, with her second album reaching Platinum status in Australia. Her biggest hit came in 2009 when "The Last Day On Earth" reached number 3 in the charts, and went on to be certified 3x Platinum.

MARK VINCENT

25 year old Mark Vincent is an Australian Tenor who rose to fame in 2009 as the winner of Australia's Got Talent. Since then, he has released a total of 7 albums and has even made his stage debut, playing the part of Freddy in My Fair Lady.

ELECTRIC FIELDS

Electric Fields are a duo from Adelaide consisting of Zaachariaha Fielding and Michael Ross. The sing in both English and in Pitjantjatjara, the local dialect of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara people in South Australia. Their musical style can be described as electronic with a hint of pop.
