Hungarian broadcaster MTVA have revealed the special pre-selection jury for A Dal have chosen 30 songs that will go on to compete in A Dal 2019, Hungary's national final for Eurovision 2019.
Alongside the 30 acts, the hosts and the members of the jury will also be announced in a press conference taking place on Monday, December 3rd at 11:00 CET at the Budapest Aquatics Centre.
It has been speculated that Kállay Saunders, who achieved 5th place for Hungary in Eurovision 2014, has entered a song to A Dal with his new band, The Middletonz. Would you like to see Kállay back in Eurovision?
2019 will mark the 7th year that Hungary has used A Dal as their selection method for Eurovision. Since launching the competition in 2012, they have had varied success in Eurovision.
In some ways, the competition has proved very successful as Hungary has managed to qualify to the final every year using A Dal, with Kállay Saunders in 2014 and Joci Pápai in 2017 both achieving top 10 positions for Hungary.
