Yesterday, Latvia's National Selection heated up with LTV releasing live 'audition' performances of all 33 songs shortlisted for consideration and now it is up to the public to have their say to help the jury decide which 16 will make it to the official Supernova 2019 lineup! In a change to last years public vote, as well as giving a song a thumbs up or down, you can also now leave comments to put yourself truly in the judges position. Find out about which artists are hoping to represent Latvia in Tel Aviv next year here!

You can now vote on the LTV Supernova website HERE for the songs you like/dislike and also leave comments on them all - a feature that LTV may regret after they see maybe the severity of some comments! Of the names involved in the Latvian 2019 pre-selection, eyes will definitely be on Markus Riva, Edgars Krielis and Samanta Tina who have been fan favourites in preivous years - but can they deliver this year!?
The top sixteen will all go on to compete in the competition across two semi finals - where the chosen winner will then ultimately get to represent Latvia out in Tel Aviv for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 to be held on Saturday May 18th 2019. Make sure to vote quickly as voting closes later this week on November 30th, with the confirmed participants list expected on December 5th 2019.
This year, Laura Rizzotto won Supernova 2018 with 'Funny Girl' - however the song failed to qualify out of Semi Final Two, placing 12th with 106 points, a painstakingly 5 points away from qualification.
