Estonia | Eesti Laul Tickets On Sale Tomorrow + Additional Details
Estonia's long-running National Selection process 'Eesti Laul' has already been confirmed for next year and details were already released about plans to mix up the format a little bit next year; making the semi finals live and making the contest bigger than ever. Speaking on Estonian television this morning, Eesti Laul producer Tomi Rahula has released further information about plans for Eesti Laul 2019 - including that tickets are going on sale tomorrow morning!

Tickets for all three shows - both semi finals and the grand final where the Estonian representative for Eurovision 2019 will be chosen - will go on sale tomorrow morning (November 8th 2018) with tickets ranging in price.
More information has been revealed on the sites that the shows will take place on. For the first time, the semi finals will be live and will take place outside of Tallinn. The venue selected for both semi finals is the main sports hall at the University of Tartu - approximately 200 kilometres south of Tallinn. The shows will take place Thursday January 31st 2019 and Saturday February 2nd 2019 - with 6 of the 12 competing songs in both progressing to the final which will take place on Saturday February 16th 2019 at the Saku Suurhall which has also hosted the final for the past three years.
Rahula also teased the song submissions received - explaining that a lot came in on the final days before the deadline. The songs received are very diverse, including songs in Estonian, Russian, English, Spanish and German, but also from a number of well known Estonian acts.
The 24 chosen performers will be announced on November 15th 2018 during TV show "Ringvaade", with the songs selected being released on December 1st 2018 in a special Eesti Laul show. Eesti Laul always offers up a very diverse set of songs - usually coming from a number of different genres.
This year, opera singer Elina Nechayeva was chosen to represent Estonia with 'La Forza' - successfully getting Estonia back in to the final after two years of not qualifying - eventually placing 8th with 245 points.
