JESC 2018 | Ireland's Junior Eurovision Final Line Up Now Complete


Tonight, Ireland held their fourth, and final semi-final, that saw Shaniah Llane Rollo win her heat, meaning the line up for Ireland's junior national final is now complete. The final will be held next Sunday 11th November 2018.

The show this evening was a pre-recorded show that saw seven artists compete for the final spot in next weeks national final. The programme saw three judges Fiachna Ó Braonáin, Gráinne Bleasdale, and guest judge Dustin the Turkey all award up to five points (stars) to each performer. Tonight's performers were:

  • Taylor Hynes – “I.O.U.

  • Aoibhinn Ní Chraoibínn – “Misneach”

  • Aisling Mullarkey – “Is Déagóir Mé”

  • Shaniah Llane Rollo – “Cuimhnigh ar na Réaltaí”

  • Fia Lynn – “Éist Linn” (Listen to Us) (10 stars)

  • Ella Meakin Griffin – “Samhlaigh Liom”

  • Aoife McNerney – “Mo Ghrá, Mo Shaol”

The performers with the two highest scores were Taylor Hynes, and Shaniah Llane Rollo. They both went through to the final battle, with Shaniah prevailing as the ultimate winner, and qualifier.

The Grand final will be held next Sunday, and see six performers all compete for the chance to be Ireland's fourth Junior Eurovision representative. The artists will be:

Jessica Doolan

Kerry Ann Creary

Shaniah Llane Rollo

WILDCARD 1 CHOSEN SUNDAY 11TH NOVEMBER 2018

WILDCARD 2 CHOSEN SUNDAY 11TH NOVEMBER 2018

The wildcards will consist of non-qualifiers from the previous semi finals.
