Sweden | Eric Saade Official Video Released For Så Jävla Fel

October 26, 2018

In news today from Sweden, we were told that that Eric Saade would be one of the four presenters of the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2019.  It is by no way a co-incidence, that the talented singer released the official video to his brand new single "så jävla fel (So Damn Wrong)" yesterday.  He was the man that made Eurovision 'Popular' back in 2011, but now seems to be developing a brand new style, with his wonderful new song.

The song which was written by Eric, along with Thomas Stenström, Aron WyMyel and Tobias Bererwall was released last week, but the official video was yesterday placed on YouTube, where it has amassed several thousand views already.  He is just as popular now, as he was back in 2011, and still manages to pull in the fans.  Check below to see the official video.

This song is very different to the largely pop style that most of his fans have been accustomed too.  For a start, the talented young singer has gone all Swedish, with the song being sung entirely in his native language.  It's a very retro yet modern sounding song, as he had ditched the pop, in favour of a more soulful tune, with a very catchy chorus.  If you are wanting a different sound going into the long winter, this will be the song for you.

The music video is reflected in this style too.  The video is not overly complicated, instead a very handsome, and clean looking Eric is seen in various rooms singing, and writing.  The song seems to be about a relationship that has ended, which see's Eric alone, with everything feeling, "so damned wrong".  The harsh reds, and blues used in the video would go a long way in suggesting the pain, and anguish he may feel over the broken relationship.  Check out the lyrics below:

Your cigarette is just where they lay when we both left.

Your perfume Saint Laurent and crushed glass,

but now I turn. leaves For all you left.

I've burned like we've never happened

Your cigarette is just where they lay when we both left.

Everything feels so damn wrong when I see you go.

Now it rains over town

What you and I will never be back.

Pushing out everything we've had,

spelling out words just as you did

The consequences of my stupid choice,

everything went so fast.

Our apartment sold you cheaply

and the shoulder stays on me.

Pushing out everything we've had,

spelling out words just as you did.

Everything feels so damn wrong when I see you go.

Now it rains over town.

What you and I will never be back .

We fall back asleep.

That night blinds me

Then I'll stand without you

No one else knows except you.

Only you Everything feels so damn wrong when I see you go

Now it rains over town. What you and I will never be back.

We fall back asleep.

That night dazzle me .

Then I'll stand without you.

No one else knows except you Only you

It is expected that Eric will be bringing out a new album in the new year.  Eric Saade is most famous for representing Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2011 where his song, "Popular" became a major hit.  At the contest he came third scoring 185 points.
