Hungary | From Eurovision to Michael Kors!
Earlier this week, giant fashion brand 'Michael Kors' released the first clip of their new international promotional campaign and the song featured is by none other than a Hungarian Eurovision star! The fashion brand headed up by an American fashion designer of the same name is one of the largest brands in the industry globally, specialising mostly in sportswear and accessories such as watches and handbags. The trailer was posted on their official Instagram channel on the 23rd October 2018 and has an audience of almost 13 million followers - amounting thousands of views in the two days since it was posted.

The song featured on the advert is 'korskorskors' by Hungarian collaboration senkise x hiro - with senkise being a duo comprising of Eurovision 2013 performer ByeAlex and Gergő Schmidt. It is an urban track that was released earlier this year and quite a change from his 2013 Eurovision song 'Kedvesem' which placed 10th for Hungary with 84 points. The video for the single, which you can view here on YouTube, has also gone viral since the trailers release. You can check out the campaign trailer below.
It turns out that the campaign has been in discussion for the past couple of months, with ByeAlex confirming to Hungarian media sources that the company was excited to get the song on board. The campaign is all about channeling a casual and cool attitude, inspired by 1990s New York street style. ByeAlex also reposted the instagram video, including in the caption that the Michael Kors range of hipbags are "the boss".
We love it when there are random and unexpected crossovers from Eurovision stars to the rest of the world and we hope that ByeAlex will see increased momentum off the back of this huge global promotional campaign.
