Malta | X Factor Auditions continue including an MESC Veteran!
It's been another great week for the X Factor Malta as the next set of contestants auditioned in the hope of making it to bootcamp and ultimately winning and getting to represent Malta at next years Eurovision Song Contest to be hosted in Tel Aviv, Israel. Whilst the episode had its controversial moments, where a contestant discussed gay conversion therapy and his controversial views on gay love, focusing on the positive moments - we saw lots of talent getting through and of course there were some familiar faces to Eurovision fans featured so lets check out who made it through to the next round.

The list of contestants that we saw get through in this episode were:
Aaliyah Mallia
Clelis (duo)
Dylan Debono
Franklin Calleja - MESC veteran with many appearances; semi-finalist 2013, 7th place in 2014, 5th place in 2015, 3rd place in 2016 and 5th place in 2017. Franklin also was a finalist in San Marino's 1in360 selection process earlier this year. Check out his audition below.
Glen Paul Pace
Kayati (duo)
Kim Cortis - Tenth place in MESC 2016 with her song 'Lighthouse'.
Maria Zammit
Matthew Grech and Friends
Nicole Frendo - Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest selection finalist 2015.
Rachel Tedesco Triccas - Had a song 'Take Me As I Am' shortlisted for MESC 2012 but it was not chosen.
Whilst he was not successful, we also saw rocker Lydon Incorvaja tackle a Eurovision song on the show - after a poor first performance of Imagine Dragons 'Radioactive', Lydon opted to sing Australia's 2017 song - 'Don't Come Easy' by Isaiah. Unfortunately it was still not enough and Lydon was sent home with 3 no's.
As always - the X Factor Malta YouTube channel has been treating us to unseen audition footage and those who were shown to make it through to Bootcamp from these videos - released daily - were Chelsea Sciortino, Maria Camilleri, Kaylie Cuschieri, Diana Formoso and Kurt Anthony.
