Malta | X Factor Six Chair Challenge Begins Filming


It had its debut episode broadcast on Sunday evening, but X Factor Malta begins production and filming on the next stage of their round for the contestants - The Six Chair Challenge.

Those who have survived their first judges auditions and bootcamp, which took place over August and September will face off against acts in their own categories, Boys, Girls, Overs and The Groups, and instead of trying to impress all four judges equally, they now have their mentor who will look after each category for the remainder of the competition, the judge mentor alone will decide which six will a seat and hold onto a seat if a later competitor earns one after all six have been filled, after the Six Chair Challenge only 24 acts will be left in the competition and advance onto Judges' Houses.

The heartbreaking and tense round of competition is taking place at the MFCC Malta Fairs and Convention Centre, where Malta Eurovision Song Contest was hosted in 2017 and 2018 respectively, where some competitions in X Factor Malta have also competed in those edition of Malta Eurovision Song Contest, from which we have already seen Aidan Cassar, where he progressed with four yes' after singing his own song "Mine" and Danica Muscat who had a more troubled time in her adution after Alexandra Alden said no her rendition of Frank Sinatra's "That's Life" stating her voice "It's nothing I feel like I haven't heard before"

Other past Malta Eurovision Song Contest acts who have confirmed they have entered X Factor Malta but have not yet showcased their audition include Janice Mangion, Miriana Conte and Stefan Galea. The winner of X Factor Malta will go onto represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.
