JESC 2018 | Wales' Junior Eurovision Entry 'Hi Yw Y Berta' To Be Revamped For The Contes

Two days ago Wales decided that Manw would be the countries first ever participant at the Junior Eurovision, that will be held in Minsk on November 25th 2018. Since then though, the Welsh national broadcaster S4C has revealed that the winning entry, "Hi yw Y Berta" (She is the prettiest) will have a revamp before the competition next month.

The song written by prominent welsh song writer Ywain Gwynedd will see changes, that will hopefully benefit the countries final participation at the contest. S4C took to twitter and stated that:

"Hi Yw Y Berta",

Check out the winning entry below:

Prior to the final, there were two pre-recorded shows, the first saw an auditioning stage, whilst the second saw mentors Connie Fisher, Stifyn Parri and Tara Bethan whittle down many hopefuls to this evening six finalists.

This year the contest will be held in Minsk, Belarus and will be the 16th official Junior Eurovision. The contest will see a record 20 countries compete, that will see Kazakhstan, and Wales debut, along with Azerbaijan, France and Israel re-join the party.

Wales have a lot of expectation this year, after they came second last year in the 'Eurovision Choir of the year'. Could they do one better this year? Eurovoxx talked about Wales joining the Junior Eurovision. Check it out below:
