JESC 2018 | Serbia's Junior Eurovision Entry 'Svet' (World) Has Been Revealed

It has been a busy few days in the world of Junior Eurovision, as first Australia released their official entry, which was quickly followed up by Israel this afternoon. This evening it is the turn of Serbia who have officially released their song "Svet" (World).
It was announced several weeks ago that the song would be called "Svet", and the artist would be the very young, and talented Bojana Radovanović. This all came after the national broadcaster held an open call for singers, and songs over the summer. It was Bojana that fulfilled this criteria with the song 'Svet' written by Maria Makovic.
Check out the song below:
The song is proving to be quite a hit with fans, and could potentially be a front runner for the Junior Eurovision crown. It has already amassed nearly 3000 views on YouTube, and is expected to rack up a lot more.
Bojana is thirteen years old, and is known throughout Serbia. She heralds from Belgrade, and first rose to prominence when she participated, and reached the super final of the well known television show 'Pinkove Zvezdize', which culminated in her releasing her debut single 'Dok ljubav ne osetiš'.
With under two months until the 2018 Junior Eurovision begins, the artist and song selections are coming in thick and fast. This year a record twenty countries have confirmed participations, with debuts from Kazakhstan, and Wales. It will be a tough competition this year with more countries than ever. Last year Serbia was represented by Irina Brodić & Jana Paunović who came a respectable tenth place scoring 92 points.
