JESC 2018 | Israels Noam Dadon releases 'Yelaad'im Ka'ele'
As we get ever close to the the Minsk hosted Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 - more and more songs are being revealed. Last month it was revealed that 13-year-old Jerusalem born singer Noam Dadon would be representing Israel in Minsk as they return to the contest after withdrawing from last years contest hosted in Tbilisi. His song 'Yelaad'im Ka'ele' - which translates to 'Children Like These' in English - was released this afternoon alongside the official video which you can watch below.

The song is a heart wrenching ballad with the music video appearing to show a couple very much in love as they transition through their life - seen as youngsters dancing in the beautiful Israeli countryside before seeing the same couple continue to dance together whilst old. In September Noam triumphed over other young Israeli singers in their National Final - which was released last week to view online and now will have the fantastic experience of taking his song and performance to the Belorussian capital - Minsk - for the final on Sunday November 25th.
The song itself is a cover of the originally released song by Israeli singer/songwriter Eden Hason back in May. Eden is the sole credited songwriter for the song so it is unlikely to launch any concerns of plagiarism. On Eden's official Facebook page - he says that the song is the story of his life and all of the hard work that has led to this moment.
In 2016 when Israel last competed in Junior Eurovision - duet Shir & Tim with their song 'Follow My Heart' finished in 15th position out of 17 with 27 points.
