If you were hoping to see the Junior Eurovision live in Minsk, and haven't bought tickets yet, it looks like that time has run out. It has been officially announced this evening that all tickets have sold out for the event.
Although the fan base for the Junior Eurovision isn't as high as the adult version of the show, it is no less popular. Last week 22,000 tickets went on sale, and they have now all sold out. With nearly 1500 a day selling, it is no surprise that they have gone. However, there are a limited number of tickets still being sold for the rehearsal shows. You need to get in there quick before they all go.
In a very nice gesture by the organisers it has also been revealed that there is a section of the arena specifically reserved for pupils of local orphanages, and gifted children. Music is for everyone.
This year a record twenty countries have confirmed participations, with debuts from Kazakhstan, and Wales. It will be a tough competition this year with more countries than ever. Also, 2018 will see the return of Azerbaijan, France and Israel. It's going to be a very special year.
This year the contest will be held in Minsk Belarus , and will come live from the nations capital on Sunday 25th November 2018.
