Which Eurovision acts have been nominated for MTV EMA Awards?
Last year, Eurovision acts from across Europe were nominated for the regional MTV EMA Awards with a few even going on to winning. French 2016 representative Amir won 'Best French Act', Belgian 2015 representative Loïc Nottet won 'Best Belgian Act' and Ermal Meta who represented Italy earlier this year won 'Best Italian Act'. This year has seen more Eurovision alumni be nominated for the different regional categories - so let's find out who they are!

Swedish singer Benjamin Ingrosso won Melodifestivalen 2018 and took to the Eurovision stage in Lisbon with his pop song 'Dance You Off'. He finished 7th position with 274 points but his success has seen him be nominated for 'Best Swedish Act'. Melodifestivalen runner-up, and Benjamin's bromance buddy, Felix Sandman has also been nominated in this category.
They may have failed to qualify for the final with their pop rock track 'Stones', but rock brother/sister duo ZiBBZ have been nominated for 'Best Swiss Act'. Back in 2015 Nadav Guedj took Israel back to the final with his pop banger 'Golden Boy' finishing 9th place with 97 points. Now Nadav is nominated for 'Best Israeli Act'.
Furthermore, a large number of singers who have appeared in National Finals are also nominated. Italian third place Sanremo finalist Annalisa is up for 'Best Italian Act', whilst Polish fan favourite Margaret - who appeared in Krajowe Eliminacje back in 2016 and then the Melodifestivalen final this year is up for 'Best Polish Act'. Caramel who finishied third in A Dal 2012 is also nominated for 'Best Hungarian Act'. Then finally, Diogo Piçarra, who was the favourite to win this years Festival da Canção and represent Portugal at their home-hosted Eurovision in May before withdrawing, is nominated for 'Best Portuguese Act'.
