Ukraine | Jamala to release new album next week

Eurovision Song Contest 2016 winner Jamala has announced the release of a new album. The album is called 'Kryla' ('Wings') and will be released on Friday October 12th 2018.
'Kryla' will be Jamala's fifth studio album, following on from her previous releases 'For Every Heart' (2011), 'All or Nothing' (2013), 'Podykh' (2015) and '1944' (2016). Writing on her official Facebook page, Jamala describes her new album as "an unusual album" in that every song is 'different' and that her new album "is a full music spectrum".
Jamala also mentions that one of the songs on the album uses a saxophone, trumpet and drums and that the content of the album is 'less about my feelings and more about what I see around me'.
Jamala released the title track for the album, 'Kryla', a few months ago, before last month releasing a video for the track. You can check out the video for 'Kryla' here.
Jamala won Eurovision 2016 with her own song '1944', one very personal to her since it tells the story of how her maternal great-grandmother was forced out of Ukraine by Stalinist soldiers during World War II.
The song drew criticism from many Eurovision fans due to its seemingly political nature, but was a massive success in Stockholm, winning the contest with 534 points.
