Poland has decided the artist Roksana Wegiel will be this years representative at the Junior Eurovision 2018 to be held in Minsk in November.
The broadcaster for Poland TVP has not used a national final this year, and instead opted to the chose the talented, young artists internally. This is the first time that the country has used this method, in a hope of reversing its fortunes, and win the competition.
The thirteen year old is no stranger to fame, as she has won the very first series of 'The Voice Kids', and this accolade has certainly helped the team at TVP to decide that she would be the perfect representative at this years Junior Eurovision. Of this opportunity, Roksana has stated it would be an actual "honour" of representing her home nation.
Poland have made five appearances at the contest, with their best result coming in 2017 when the nation came 8th. Alicja Rega was the artist, and she sang "Mój Dom".
