JESC 2018 | L.E.V.O.N Will Represent Armenia In Minsk

Another national final has ended, and this time it was Armenia, who has decided that the singer L.E.V.O.N will be the countries next representative to the Junior Eurovision 2018. This choice has meant the singer is the thirteenth known artist that will be present in Belarus in just over two months time.

Armenia chose the young artist through its national final Depi Manakakan Evratesil, and will see him sing the song also called 'L.E.V.O.N.

This year saw Armenia hold two national finals, with L.E.V.O.N winning the first, and also winning the final. Twenty three artists has initially competed, with only ten making it to todays final. They were:

Lia - "Kamac-Kamac "

Anahit Arakelyan - "Shabadibam"

Harut Harutyunyan - "Amar e"

Lily - "Payqar"

Vova - "Leggo"

Serzh Arakelyan - "Good Mood"

Vardan Margaryan - "Janhapar"

Eliza - "Im Erazanq"

L.E.V.O.N - "L.E.V.O.N"

Ani - "Angels"

L.E.V.O.N won, gaining enough votes from the public vote, as well as the professional jury to secure his place for Armenia to sing in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest to be held on the 25th November 2018 in Belarus. Check out his song below.

Last year the country was represented by Misha with the song 'Boomerang', and placed a respectable 6th position. This year will mark Armenia's eleventh entry, with their best ever result coming in 2010 when they won with the song "Mama". Can L.E.V.O.N emulate this success? The country has always made the top 10.

This year has seen a record 20 countries competing, which will see Kazakhstan alongside Wales debut for the very first time at the competition. Also returning this year will be Azerbaijan, France and Israel.

Are you happy with this result? Do you think L.E.V.O.N could win? Please tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
