Austria | ORF Confirm Eurovision 2019 Participation

The conformations for Eurovision 2019 are coming in thick and fast now and today it was confirmed that Austria will participate in Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

ORF confirmed today that Austria shall be taking part in Eurovision 2019, they did not however reveal how they shall be selecting their entrant, wether through national final or an internal selection, the last two years, Austria has opted to select internally, Austria scored their best result in the contest since winning in 2014 in Lisbon, when Cesar Sampson finished 3rd overall with the song "Nobody But You" the entry also won a close fought jury vote in the final also. Austria have also been in the final every single year since 2014. which means their five year qualification streak from the semi finals is the best run Austria have had in success rate of qualification since the semi finals were initially introduced.
