JESC 2018 | Serbia Sends Bojana Radovanović With The Song 'Svet' To Minsk

The national broadcaster for Serbia has internally selected the singer Bojana Radovanović with the song 'Svet' (World) to be its representative at the forthcoming Junior Eurovision to be held in Minsk in two months.
Todays announcement has now meant that officially nine artists are officially known ahead of the contest in November. This follows the recent selections of Malta, and Ukraine within the last week. It is no surprise that RTS has announced the singer so soon. Especially since the submission period for entries closed on the 1st September. The artist Mari Mari is the composer of the song, 'Svet'. The song, and singer has been chosen, however, the first official performance is expected in the coming weeks.
Bojana is thirteen years old, and is known throughout Serbia. She heralds from Belgrade, and first rose to prominence when she participated, and reached the super final of the well known television show 'Pinkove Zvezdize', which culminated in her releasing her debut single 'Dok ljubav ne osetiš'. With over two months until the 2018 Junior Eurovision begins, the artist and song selections are coming in thick and fast. This year a record twenty countries have confirmed participations, with debuts from Kazakhstan, and Wales. It will be a tough competition this year with more countries than ever. Last year Serbia was represented by Irina Brodić & Jana Paunović who came a respectable tenth place scoring 92 points.
