After weeks of speculation over whether the Eurovision Song Contest will be going to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, this morning the EBU published a video on to YouTube confirming that Eurovision 2019 will be held in Tel Aviv! Executive supervisor for the Eurovision Song Contest Jon Ola Sand confirmed today that the contest will be hosted in Tel Aviv at the International Convention Centre. This is the first time that the contest will be held in this city.
In addition to the host city, the European Broadcasting Union have also confirmed the dates for the show. The first semi final will be on May 14th, the second semi final on May 16th before the Grand Final that will be hosted on Saturday May 18th. Now the speculation is over and we have our host city and dates - coupled with Switzerland releasing the first of their potential entries, Eurovision 2019 season is now in full swing and we hope you will join us for the ride!
