Malta has chosen its Junior Eurovision 2018 representative... her name is Ela Mangion and she's ready to go "Marchin' On" all the way to Minsk, Belarus on November 25th.
MJESC 2018 was Ela's second time taking part in the competition, her first being in 2016 when she sang her cover version of the late Whitney Houston's 'One Moment In Time'. Ela's moment in time wasn't to be in 2016, but two years and a much-improved vocalist later, her time came in 2018 and Ela will now have the honour to fly Malta's Junior Eurovision flag in Belarus.

MJESC 2018 has seen a move away from Malta's traditional 100% televote being used to decide the winner, and instead, they opted for a 50-50 split jury voting and televoting - although neither set of individual results was revealed during the live show.
Moreover, only the top three was revealed - with Katryna Borg and Rihanna Azzopardi finishing second and Giorgia Borg third. The jury was led by Christabelle, who represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon singing 'Taboo'.
The show was held at the WE Media Studio in Marsa in front of a small, but lively, audience and was presented by Taryn Mamo Cefai - who also presented the JESC 2016 Opening Ceremony when Malta hosted the competition two years ago.
2018 will mark Malta's 14th participation in JESC, with the Mediterranean island having triumphed in the competition twice - in 2013 when Gaia Cauchi won in Kyiv, Ukraine with 'The Start' and in 2015 when Destiny Chukunyere won in Sofia, Bulgaria with 'Not My Soul'.
