JESC 2018 | Marija Spasovska will sing for FYR Macedonia

Macedonian broadcaster MRT have today announced that Marija Spasovska will sing for FYR Macedonia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Belarus.

The broadcaster held auditions on August 18th, in which a total of 10 participants auditioned. The jury panel were judging all the participants on their vocal ability and they unanimously voted for Marija, stating that she had "the best performance of the day" and "she possesses extraordinary singing abilities" that would make her a worthy candidate to represent FYR Macedonia at Junior Eurovision.

Marija is no stranger to singing and performing; she has performed in many shows and festivals in and around Macedonia, and has picked up numerous awards along the way, including 3rd place at the Slavianski Bazaar where she sang "Crno i Belo" by former Macedonian Eurovision participant, Kaliopi.
