Glennis Grace advances to Semi Finals of America's Got Talent

Thirteen years ago, songstress Glennis Grace represented the Netherlands at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest and despite her soulful ballad 'My Impossible Dream' being expected to do well the powerhouse vocalist narrowly failed to make the finals of the contest finishing fourteenth out of twenty five. However Glennis has definitely had the last laugh as earlier this year she auditioned for season thirteen of America's Got Talent and wowed audiences with her performance of Whitney Houston's 'Run To You'.

Having already made it through several rounds of cuts, earlier this week Glennis performed 'Never Enough', from the soundtrack of 'The Greatest Showman' in the quarter finals - where the Top 36 acts were whittled down to the Top 21. Glennis stunned viewers and voters alike with her performance which included some incredible notes perfectly executed. You can watch her quarter final performance below.

In a heartwarming moment, during the results reveal the person who was called alongside Glennis was announced as being through to the semi finals she went to leave the stage thinking that meant her time in the competition was over. Host Tyra Banks, of America's Next Top Model fame, then called Glennis back letting her know that she had also progressed. Glennis, along with the 20 others who advanced and the judges wildcard, will be performing in the Semi Finals set to air in September. Here is a reminder of her 2005 Eurovision performance:
