JESC 2018 | Kazakhstan opens applications for national final

The Khabar Agency, Kazakhstan's broadcaster for the country's upcoming debut in The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 have announced that they will be holding a national final to chose their act for Junior Eurovision and have revealed details and rules.
Details:
The Kazakh broadcaster have announced that once all the submissions have been received, a jury will listen to all of the songs and decide who will advance to the national final.
The national final is expected to be broadcast live on the Khabar Agency Television Channel; however, the date has not been released yet.
Rules:
The Kazakh broadcaster have revealed the rules for their national final:
All songs must be submitted between August 1st to August 31st
All participants must be between the ages of 9 and 14
There can only be a maximum of 6 people on stage
The song must be in the Kazakh language, with up to 40% of the song allowed to be in English
The song cannot have been released or performed before and must be no longer than 3 minutes
