July 25, 2018

Following on from the success of qualifying for Finland at this years Eurovision, one of the more popular artists from this years contest, Saara Aalto has announced today via her Twitter that she intends to tour Europe.

Although the Finnish beauty languished on the right hand of the leader board, this has not stopped her success, and she certainly aims to grow her ever increasing fan base.  Today, the singer announced that several more dates were added to her European tour.  In doing so, she follows the likes of Eleni Foureira, and Netta who have toured, and shown off their Eurovision success.

Saara announced that she will be starting her tour in October, and it will continue well into November.  The young singer has announced that she will be performing in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.  This is where her popularity has really taken hold.

Finland opted for an internal selection this year, and decided that Saara Aalto would be the countries representative at Eurovision this year.  The selection consisted of three songs, that saw "Monsters" chosen by the Finnish public, and the international jury as the song that would try and win Eurovision for a second time for the Scandinavian country.  The song "Monsters" qualified from a very tough first semi final, coming tenth in that heat.  The final itself saw the Finnish singer come 25th out of 26 nations scoring 46 points.
