Demy Releases New Single, 'Kyma Kalokairino'

Greek pop star, and former Eurovision representative from 2017, Demy is back. The talented singer has just released a new song: Κύμα Καλοκαιρινό (Kyma Kalokairino). The song has been released just in time for summer, and Eurovoxx, are sure it will be the next big summer hit in Greece.

The song which was released yesterday on her official YouTube channel, has already amassed over 16 thousand hits, and goes a long way in showing that this artist can still pull in the crowds. It is a song that her fans are truly going to love. Check out the song below:

This sensitive, heartbreak song talks about how the star reminiscences of good old times spent with the loved one, when they were happy and in love, but now the silence, loneliness and happiness of others makes her want to bring him back and be together again.

Kyma Kalokairino follows a few other singles released by her following the Eurovision experience, including "Orio Kanena", "Ston Aera" or "Me Ekdikise", and is available for listening on Youtube and Spotify. Demy is a signed artist with the Greek independent label Panik Records and since the beginning of her career, Demy has been nominated 30 times for a MAD Video Music Awards (Annual Greek Awards). Up to now, she has won 11 VMAs, including "Best New Artist" and "Best Female Artist" and she holds the record of the 4th most awarded artist in the history of the Greek VMAs, making her one of the most successful Greek pop artists.

Last year, in Kyiv, Demy represented Greece with "This is love", and performed in the first semi-final on the 9th of May 2017. She qualified for the final, which was held on the 13th of May 2017. She finished in 19th place with 77 points, 48 from the juries and 29 from the televoting.
