It's all over the news, the World Cup 2018 started last Thursday in Russia and Iceland just played their first game today against Argentina that ended in a in a 1-1 draw.
It was a stressful and exciting game for all the Icelandic fans as to how can they win against Argentina who have Lionel Messi; but there was no need to worry for the Icelanders as their main goalkeeper, Hannes Þór Halldórsson, took matters into his own hands and defended a penalty shot from Messi, thus being chosen as the man of the game.
You may not know Hannes Þór by name, unless you follow football, but he has his very own ties to our favourite song contest!
Every Eurovision fan knows his work as Hannes Þór is not only as a football player but also as a film director, for he directed the music video for Iceland's 2012 entry, "Never Forget" by Gréta Salóme and Jónsi.
