JESC Act Muireann McDonell Was Nearly In Britain's Got Talent Live Shows
Last November she represented her home nation of Ireland in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia, but this morning Muireann McDonnell announced she had entered British talent competition Britain's Got Talent - and was so nearly into the live shows.

The show, which is currently airing now on ITV, with the Grand Final taking placing on Sunday 3rd June is in its twelve series and has produced many stars who have taking their talent onto bigger and greater things, with the "Got Talent" franchise spanning across the globe, with the likes of France 2012 act Anggun being a judge on the most recent series of "Asia's Got Talent"
But this morning, Muireann who turned 12 the day after the Junior Eurovision final, announced on her Instagram, she had in fact entered the talent competition this year, and how she was actually on the reserve list for the live shows, in case of any of the acts who had qualified for the live semi finals, had to withdraw or been disqualified, however, no such thing happened and therefore she did not advance any further, in her post she references the fact she recieved a standing ovation from the judges and audience, and that Simon Cowell even said "she was the best act of the day"

In Junior Eurovision 2017, Muireann was selected through a national selection format, and she won with the song "Súile Glasa" which translates to Green Eyes, on the night, she placed 15th with 54 points from the public and juries. Ireland have confirmed they shall be competing in the contest in 2018, which is taking place in Minsk, Belarus.
