The First Ten Acts Have Qualified For The Grand Final


After what seems like a lifetime, the 63rd Eurovision has begun in spectacular style this evening. Nineteen countries were present, and all performed their hearts out to be given that ticket to be in this Saturdays final. The show held at the Altice arena certainly impressed, and showed that first time winners Portugal really know how to put on a show.

After all 19 artists performed which included a sneak peak of Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom. Yesterday, saw the artists perform for the jury vote, and today saw them sing for the public vote. With all results combined, these are the ten that made it to the grand final.

Albania

Albania have appeared at the contest 15 times, tonight's qualification is their 8th time to the final.

Czech Republic

This is the Czech Republics 7th appearance at the contest, Mikolas has ensured it is the second final that the country will be at.

Lithuania

This will be Lithuania's 19th appearance at the contest. By qualifying tonight they have made it to 13 finals.

Israel

This will be Israel's 41st Eurovision appearance. Netta has qualified tonight making it the countries 35th Eurovision appearance.

Estonia

This is the Baltic nations 24th appearance at the contest. By qualifying tonight, marks their 15th time at a Eurovision final.

Bulgaria

Equinox are the 13th participant for the country, Tonight marks the 4th time that the country has qualified for the Eurovision final.

Austria

This is Austria's 51st appearance at the competition. Cesar's performance has made Austria qualify 47 times.

Finland

52 times, Finland has appeared at the contest. By qualifying tonight Saara Aalto has made the country appear at its 45th final

Ireland

The most successful country in the competition sees this year's 52nd edition, and tonight saw the country qualify for the 45th time.

Cyprus

Cyprus have appeared 35 times, and tonight has meant their 29th grand final.
