Meet ZiBBZ from Switzerland!

This year 43 countries will be present at this years Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Lisbon in May. With around two weeks to go until all of Europe descends on Portugal's capital, Eurovoxx will introduce you to each country that will be participating.
Who are ZiBBZ?
ZiBBZ are brother and sister duo Corinne and Stefan Gfeller (otherwise known as Coco and Stee). Hailing from the Lucerne area of Switzerland, the musical siblings formed ZiBBZ in 2008, and have featured in their own reality show on Swiss TV about their road to success and their lives in LA.
ZiBBZ have released two albums - Ready? Go! in 2013, and last year - It Takes A Village. Both albums reached the Top 20 of the Swiss album charts.

How were ZiBBZ chosen?
Switzerland opted for a national selection show to choose their entry for Lisbon. ZiBBZ performed their song 'Stone' alongside five other acts in ESC 2018 - Die Entscheidungsshow, and won with 76 points - 50 points ahead of the second placed song.
Switzerland in The Eurovision Song Contest
Switzerland not only hosted the first Eurovision Song Contest in Lugano in 1956, but they also won the show - with Lys Assia becoming the contest's first winner with Refrain. The landlocked nation would have to wait another 32 years before taking home the trophy, when a young Céline Dion secured victory by a single point with Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi in 1988.
Since the introduction of semi-finals in 2004, Switzerland have only been present in a Eurovision final on 4 occasions, with their best result being 8th place in 2005 with Estonian band Vanilla Ninja's song Cool Vibes.
They will be hoping to beat last year's outing, when Timebelle failed to make it through to the final with their song Apollo.
