Czech Republic | New version of 'Lie To Me' released

Czech it out! ČT, the state broadcaster of the Czech Republic, this morning released the Eurovision edit of Lie To Me by Mikolas Josef, the song which won the country's online national final back in January.

While the overall structure of the song remains unchanged, with the impossibly catchy brass section still dominating the chorus, the lyrics have been downgraded from R-Rated to PG-13. However, while the overt swear words might have been Robin Bengtsson'd, all of the songs innuendos remain intact. Bowl of spaghetti, anyone?

The song will take part in the first half of Semi Final One on 08 May. In spite of Czech Republic's rocky history at Eurovision (including its only finalist, I Stand by Gabriela Gunčíková receiving zero points from the televote on the big night), bookmakers across Europe are predicting a top ten finish for Mikolas and his track.
