Cyprus | Eleni Foureira Releases Eurovision Entry "Fuego"
It was the national selection idea which became internal and many names rumoured to be artist before it was announced Eleni Foureira would represent Cyprus in Lisbon with the song "Fuego" and tonight the songs which has eagerly been anticipated was released.

Eleni, 30 has applied to represent Greece in the past she has admitted, but after being passed over multiple times, she has jumped at the opportunity to represent their neighbouring Cyprus instead, now armed with an entry wrote by Alex Papaconstantinou and Nancy Auralides, she has her eyes firmly set on Lisbon.
Fuego is a mid tempo Latin dance song, with the chorus culminating in an instrumental bridge where the downbeat in emphasised more, this is not the first time Alex P has wrote a song for Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest, last doing so in 2012 for Ivi Adamou and the song "La La Love" which was adored by many across the continent and made the final in Baku, Azerbaijan. you can hear the Cypriot entry for Lisbon below, Cyprus will also be competing in the second half of the first semi final.
