Armenia | Sevak Khanagyan Wins Depi Evratesil With The Song "Qami"

Tonight Depi Evratesil, the selection format used to select Armenia's entry for Lisbon came to its conculsion and Sevak Khanagyan has won with the song "Qami"

 

 

Qami, which transltes as wind in English won both the televote and jury vote in Armenia, making him the clear winner on the night, he will now represent Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest. This also marks the first time since Armenia debuted in the contest back in 2006 that their entry shall be sung entirely in their native language of Armenian. Runners up where Nemra with the song "I'm A Liar" with Amaliya Margaryan rounding out the top three with her song "Waiting For The Sun" Armenia will compete in the second half of the first semi final in an attempt to make the Grand Final on May 12th.
