France | Madame Monsieur To Perform At Ukrainian Selection

it has been announced this afternoon that duo Madaame Monsieur who are representing France in the Eurovision Song Contest in May will be performing during the Ukranian selection semi final this forthcoming Saturday.

Ukraine will be hosting their second semi final of their selection format "Vidbir" where nine more acts will be taking to the stage to claim one of the final three spots in the grand final and still in the running to represent Ukraine in Eurovision 2018, however Vidbir has also been known to bring on acts confirmed for the forthcoming contest as their interval act as a guest, as a way for promotion of their entry or a gesture of good will we are not sure, however Mikolas Josef who will represent the Czech Republic with his self penned song "Lie To Me" performed during the first semi final, which you can see below, it was also the first time many fans saw Mikolas perform the song live. During the 2017 selection Naviband, Tako Gachechiladze, Manel Navarro and Alma where special guests.

Madame Monsieur will be representing France with their self penned song "Mercy" after they won the French national selection show "Destination Eurovision" after winning their semi final they became one of the favourites to win the whole, after a tense voting sequence which saw "Mercy" place third with the international jury, they stormed the televote with nearly 30% percent of the vote, giving them another points to overtake leaders Emmy Liyana and Lisandro Cuxi and win the ticket to Lisbon, watch their winning performance below:
